Diseases
Velvet
Velvet is very similar to white spot disease, the only difference is the spots are more like a sprinkling white/grayish flour as opposed to white spot's that look like sugar grains. Velvet is caused by poor aquarium water quality which allow the build-up of nitrates and ammonia. Treatment can be found at most local pet stores and should be treated immediately.
